Webster's Challenge

Friday, September 27th from 5:30-7:30pm!

Webster’s Challenge is your Wellington PTA's fundraiser. The challenge provides a fun way for kids to participate in fundraising and show their school spirit! Webster, our school mascot, has invited our students to complete the challenges below:

Part 1: is to help raise $32,000 for our school fundraising goal
On Monday, Sept 23rd students will receive a donation tracking envelope and prize chart to help raise money to support the school and enrichment programs. Cash and checks are accepted as well as online donations. To make an online donation, simply click here and donate.

Part 2: is for students to show their school pride by wearing their grade level color or spiritwear, especially on the 27th 
Kindergarten is Purple, 1st grade is Red, 2nd is Orange, 3rd is Yellow, 4th is Green, 5th is Blue. 

Part 3 is the final challenge! Webster is having a fun, FREE night full of mini-challenges and activities (on Friday, 9/27) and needs the students to help complete it by participating. Students, Staff, and Families are invited to enjoy the playground, gaga ball game, scavenger hunt, dinner for purchase, and our amazing raffle!

FAQs: 

1. What about company matching? Matching is a great way to double your donations! Make sure to ask donors if their employer offers matching. Remind them to submit their donation through their company’s donation matching process.
2. Is this the only fundraiser this year? Yes! We are combining some of our favorite activities from previous year’s events to create ONE BIG FUNDRAISER! If we don’t raise the funds needed, we may add a fundraiser later in the year.
3. Do you need volunteers or help? YES!  We will physically need people before the event to help set up, need people to run stations at the event, and people to help with clean up.  In addition, we also need items donated for our raffle baskets. Donations should be elementary school friendly. 
4. Are there any prizes or incentives this year? Each student will have the opportunity to earn a school spirit token for each level of funds raised. In addition, raffle tickets can be earned after the prize levels have been reached.
5. What should my child wear to the Webster's Challenge? The challenge is a rain or shine event, please dress your child accordingly. But we do love to see those grade level colors!

IMPORTANT NOTICE- This is not a drop off event. We realize this celebration is on a Friday afternoon and can be difficult for some families to attend. If you’re not able to attend but your child would like to, please make arrangements with another family to look after your child.
