PTA is NOT volunteerism or attending meetings…
It is about ADVOCATING by giving your VOICE for the benefit of our CHILDREN!
Here’s how we can achieve our 100% Goal!
- Encouraging more parents to be involved in our vibrant PTA: both Mom’s & Dad’s!
- We have a family PTA membership for 2 adults for only $20!
- Working to have 100% of the Wellington Teachers be members of our PTA!
- Inviting friends, relatives, community leaders to lend a voice for our children by joining the Wellington PTA!
PTA is NOT volunteerism or attending meetings… We do however love our volunteers and there are many opportunities to be involved at Wellington if you have time. So please, we encourage you to lend a hand whenever and wherever you can, but if you can’t at least let your membership counts toward supporting your child with the efforts PTA makes to advocate for our children in our school, our district, our state, as well as, at a National level. Every Child, One Voice!

WA State PTA recognized Wellington PTA at its annual convention. On behalf of our membership we proudly accepted the following awards:
1st Place Taking Significant Action Award: Helping Hands Club - recognize the accomplishments of this program as it showed significant originality, involvement, potential, usefulness, and results.
Platinum Membership - Award for improving our membership by more than 30%
Standards of Excellence - A PTA that achieves the highest standards and uses best practices in the overall management of the organization.
Honor Unit - A PTA which has, in its service to children, gone significantly beyond the attainment of standards of excellence and has demonstrated the kind of exceptional qualities that merit replication by others.
Applegate Grant Award: Lunch Recess Science Club & Fair -$500 Grant funding for program that is community-wide and focuses on the health, welfare, safety, education, and care of children in our community.
Honorable mention for Outstanding Local Unit - The Outstanding Local Unit of the Year is a PTA which exemplifies the purposes and mission of PTA over all others in the state. Congratulations to our friends at Arrowhead Elementary for earning the Outstanding Local Unit Award.
