Spring is here! And with it comes a new slate of Before & After School Programs—registration is open now, and programs begin April 13. Please sign up as soon as possible so that we do not have to cancel any of these programs!
We Need You! Our Wellington PTA Board has reached term limits, and we’re looking for new voices and leaders to step in. No matter your schedule; full-time, part-time, or anything in between, there’s a role that can fit your availability. To remain a functioning PTA, we must fill three key roles: President, Treasurer, and Secretary. We have lots of great activities coming up including Wolverines on the Run, PTA & Wellington Way Awards, Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week as well as WEB Night (formerly our Multicultural Night). WEB stands for Where Everyone Belongs. We need one person to coordinate the evening whether it is simply inviting families to share a special dish and/or tradition, or whether you’d like to bring in outside entertainment, the night is yours to make! Please email christine@wellingtonpta.org by May 1 if you’re interested, otherwise, we will cancel this event.

Some Important Emergency Reminders:
If you are volunteering at school and a drill or a true emergency occurs, please remain with your class until you are directed to exit the building. Once outside, all volunteers should check in with Ms. Beavo in the Courtyard (specifically by the table near the Publishing Room). Ms. Beavo will then take attendance so we can also account for all adults at school. If you arrive to school while a drill is happening, please proceed straight to the Courtyard to check in.
Spirit Wear:
Check out our new Spirit Wear designs for this year (designed by a Wellington parent). Spirit Wear is on sale here, and proceeds from sales go back to PTA to support our school grants, programs and events! Donate previously loved Spirit Wear to the PTA; we'll have another free Spirit Wear Swap during the Art Walk & Book Fair Family Fun Night on March 24. The donation bin is in the main office.
