Congratulations to all Missoula Children’s Theatre performers! It was a great show with enthusiastic fairies, trolls, caterpillars who became butterflies, palace cooks, housekeepers, musicians & guards, the town crier, and no less than two Sleeping Beauties plus her loyal dog and family (Queen, Lady in Waiting, King plus Aunt Scarella), all with help from the assistant director and even Elvis! Thank you to Missoula Children’s Theatre, all of the volunteers and parents who made it possible, and to the Staff & Teachers in the audience on Saturday!

PTA has two low-cost drives going on at the same time: the Helping Hands Coin Drive runs until March 20 (this coming Friday); and the Spirit Wear Swap runs until March 24 (next Tuesday). Please send in any loose change with your student to supplement funds for students during the Book Fair. We received less donations than anticipated last week (perhaps there are some coins in the bottom of backpacks!) so please send in change if you can. We also had just one t-shirt donated to the Spirit Wear Swap, so if there are any formerly-loved tees or hats stashed in the back of closets or donation piles, please consider donating them to PTA so we can share them with others in our community!
The Scholastic Book Fair hosted & organized by Ms. Beavo is coming March 23 – 27! All students will have shopping time at the Book Fair during their regularly scheduled library time. The entire family is invited on Tuesday, March 24 to shop and also view our gallery of student artwork at the annual Art Walk, plus pick out new-to-you Spirit Wear at the Spirit Wear Swap! We need a lot of volunteers at the Book Fair, so please sign up to help here.

Some Important Emergency Reminders:
If you are volunteering at school and a drill or a true emergency occurs, please remain with your class until you are directed to exit the building. Once outside, all volunteers should check in with Ms. Beavo in the Courtyard (specifically by the table near the Publishing Room). Ms. Beavo will then take attendance so we can also account for all adults at school. If you arrive to school while a drill is happening, please proceed straight to the Courtyard to check in.
Spirit Wear:
Check out our new Spirit Wear designs for this year (designed by a Wellington parent). Spirit Wear is on sale here, and proceeds from sales go back to PTA to support our school grants, programs and events! Donate previously loved Spirit Wear to the PTA; we'll have another free Spirit Wear Swap during the Art Walk & Book Fair Family Fun Night on March 24. The donation bin is in the main office.
