The Wellington STEM Fair is scheduled for March 3, 2026, and we need you to Lead/Chair this event! This is PTA’s biggest event of the year and is an opportunity for students to display and present projects completed at home. Didn’t do a project? No problem, everyone is invited to look at the projects plus experience and participate in fun STEM activities here in our very own gym!
Due to the nature of this event, we must have someone volunteer to lead/chair the STEM Fair by January 13 (the date of our next general meeting) otherwise we may need to cancel this popular event.
If you decide to lead/chair the STEM Fair, you have a $3,000 budget to bring in exciting vendors such as Pacific Science Center, Burke Museum, Pollinator Pathways, Mathnasium (a PTA sponsor), Museum of Flight, or Imagine Kids Museum! Lots of resources are available; previous leads/chairs have created how-to guides for the next voluneer including a guide for planning the event, a student guide on putting together a project, and even verbiage for morning announcements and communications.
